Anjuli Bakhru is moving back to the east coast after working in our San Diego office for three years. Raised in Silver Spring, MD, Anjuli attended Springbrook High School and the University of Maryland, College Park. After some time away from her hometown, she looks forward to wearing her Terps gear surrounded by people who know what a Terrapin is. She plans to attend lacrosse, soccer and basketball games, and in the summer, she’ll enjoy crab feasts!
“Visiting the monuments will never get old. I love having coffee and a bagel early in the morning at the Roosevelt Memorial and then walking the tidal basin.”
Returning home will reunite her with her mom and brother who still live in the area, along with a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from high school. Before moving to the west coast, she coached a high school girl’s lacrosse team for two years to help get the school’s program started. She’ll now have a chance to see how the program has grown in the past four years.
We’re looking forward to Anjuli’s return to the east coast to join our DC office as a transportation engineer. For Anjuli’s professional bio, click here.
